Molecular Biology & Genetics – Biotechnology Training Program

Istanbul Technical University (ITU) is pleased to invite scientists, researchers, graduate students, and senior undergraduate students to participate in an intensive five-day Molecular Biology & Genetics – Biotechnology Training Program to be held at the Dr. Orhan Öcalgiray Molecular Biology, Biotechnology and Genetics Research Center (MOBGAM).

Designed to combine scientific lectures with laboratory-based training, this program offers participants the opportunity to explore current advances in life sciences while developing practical research skills in a modern academic environment.

The scientific sessions cover a broad spectrum of contemporary topics in molecular biology and biotechnology, including microbiology, immunology, cancer research, biomaterials, and computational approaches in life sciences, providing participants with both fundamental knowledge and insights into emerging research trends.

In addition to the lecture sessions, participants will receive laboratory training in key experimental techniques, including Quantitative PCR (qPCR), Flow Cytometry, Immunocytochemistry, and Zeta Sizer technologies. These sessions are designed to strengthen both theoretical understanding and technical competence in modern biological research.

The final day of the program will be dedicated to scientific discussion, networking, and exploring potential future collaborations, followed by the awarding of certificates of participation.
